The Team Angi Yowell Owner/Creative Director Education: Angi Yowell studied graphic design and marketing at Southwest Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri under her advisor, world-renowned designer, Cedomir Kostovik. Employment & Experience: During her junior year at SMSU, she was employed by Medical Consulting Group (MCG) as a graphic designer. She gained extensive experience with clientele identity-branding, working with clients across the USA. After 3 years of employment with MCG, she relocated to St. Louis and worked for the St. Louis Convention & Visitors Commission where she was responsible for designing marketing materials for the CVC in an effort to promote tourism to the city of St. Louis. She later married and relocated to Rolla, Missouri where she was hired as a Communications Specialist at the University of Missouri-Rolla for the civil, architectural and environmental engineering department. Primary responsiblities at UMR include marketing and public relations of the department, along with maintenance of the department's website and the biannual newsletter. Past projects under her direction include overall concept & logo development, while enforcing the message with printed literature, website design, posters, radio and television spots.
Debbie Brinkley Image Restoration Debbie Brinkley provides overall detail inspection and review of projects. Because her knowledge of image software is unsurpassed, her strengths are image enhancements and digital image restoration. Debbie Brinkley worked with visual/graphic displays and computers at J.C. Penney for more than six years before finding her true calling in photo editing and restoration. She has worked as part of a team on multiple books, including a centennial celebration book for the University of Missouri-Rolla (UMR), as well as a book spanning the past 50 years of history for a fraternity at UMR. She also specializes in photo retouching of wedding pictures including adding that little something special as well. Two and a half years ago, she enrolled in classes at a local technical institute. She then went on to further her knowledge of the graphics industry by teaching herself through books and online lessons. She is creative and self-driven and truly enjoys editing and restoring photos. To Debbie, photos are more than pictures of people to her... they are special moments in time, captured forever. This is why she loves to restore old pictures for those who may lose that bit of past that deteriorating pictures threaten to do. As a team member of Angi Yowell Design Company, Debbie ensures all images on projects meet the highest level of quality possible.
Milo Studio Cat Milo came to the studio as a stray. He was taken to a local vet in Rolla for a check-up, shots and, well, shall we say "snip-snip"... he has proven to be a great mouser and has tomcat qualities.
